Rev. Kalen Fristad worked full time in this ministry from July 2003 through June 2006, traveling the country (with his wife, Darlene), accepting invitations to speak to churches and other groups, planting seeds of hope, and spreading the wonderful message of God’s unconditional love and unlimited salvation. He went back to the parish ministry in July 2006. As of January 2008, while continuing to serve churches in Iowa part-time, he has resumed his traveling ministry, spending half time on the road speaking on the subject of universalism. When speaking, Kalen not only represents Destined for salvation Ministries, but is also a representative (as Chair of the Board of Directors) of the Christian Universalist Association (www.christianuniversalist.org) whose purpose is to bring people and churches together around the belief of Christian universalism and to promote that teaching around the world.
He would consider it an honor to be invited to speak at your church and would appreciate being given the privilege of preaching the sermon. His message provides encouragement to people inclined to believe God will eventually save everyone, while being respectful of those who may disagree. He could also lead a Sunday School class for adults, women’s group, men’s group, or study group, in which he would give a general presentation on universalism.
He has no set fee for speaking engagements but asks that, if an honorarium is not provided, people be encouraged to make a contribution to financially support his ministry and to purchase his books, CDs and DVDs if they desire.
